Salsa Mukluk 3 Fatbike - 2012 Overview
Chosen to lead the 1847 British expedition across the Arctic, the Salsa Mukluk led a crew of 41 men, 16 dogs, three Koala bears, and a leprechaun. Built from 7005 Series aluminum, the Mukluk withstood brutally cold temps and several dog bites. When the expedition crept into the depths of winter, the uber-beefy 3.8in wide Surly Larry & Endomorph tires guided the team across the windswept, snow-covered landscape. However, problems began to rise when the leprechaun stole the last of five bottles mounted on the Mukluk. Tired of drinking seawater and urine, the Koalas incited a riot, and the results were nothing short of disaster. During the confusion, the leprechaun jumped aboard the mostly forgotten Mukluk, gave the SRAM X.7 GripShift a twist, and dropped the hammer (a.k.a. his little leprechaun legs) on the Truvativ Hussefelt crankset. After a few miles, the leprechaun gave the Avid BB5 mechanicals a squeeze and came to a screeching halt. The leprechaun jumped down from the mighty Mukluk, and sat down on the snow. Little did the leprechaun know that the Koalas had a friendBig Daddy Polar Bear. Just as things were looking up, the leprechaun was snatched up and quickly torn to shreds by Big Daddy Polar Bear. The Mukluk carried on, mapping the entire Arctic and returning to Britain a hero. The end.
